CTET Eligibility 2024 For Paper-I (Class I to V)

The candidates who wish to teach students from Class 1 to 5 must appear for the CTET Paper I. Here is the complete CTET Eligibility Criteria 2024 for Paper I.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education/4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR

Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR

Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming Teachers for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates have to mandatory undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher. OR

Post-Graduation candidate with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

CTET July 2024 Eligibility For Paper-II (Class VI to VIII)

The candidates who wish to teach students from Class 6 to 8 must appear for the CTET Paper II. Here is the complete CTET Eligibility Criteria 2024 for Paper II.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/B.Ed. (Special Education). OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure). OR any candidate having a qualified B.Ed Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. OR

Post-Graduation candidate with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

Online Uploading of Scanned Images:

• Uploading of scanned Photo and Signature are mandatory.
• Upload scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
• Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 to 100 KB.
• Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
• Size of scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB.
• Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).

The candidates are advised to keep the scanned images of latest photograph and signature of the candidates ready in JPG format and as per the size and dimension specified, before applying online. The scanned image of latest photograph is required to upload to avoid the in convenience at centre, as this photograph will be matched with the actual candidate appearing in the examination.

• Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE has issued the Notification of CTET Teacher July 2024 Recruitment 2024. All Candidate can Registration for Online Applications will Open on 07 March 2024 and Closed on 05 April 2024.
• Candidate should be Check and Collect the All Document - Eligibility, ID Proof, Basic Details & Address Details.
• Candidate Required have Scan Document of one Photo ID Card, Signature, Thumb, ID Proof, etc. The candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the Photo ID whose details have been provided in the online application by him/her. This Photo ID Card will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for Examination/Personality Test. 
• The use of any mobile phone or any electronic equipment, camera or bluetooth device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches etc. They are Banned during the examination.
• Take a Final Print out for a Submitted Form.
